Pipeline Software Releases Maxavera version 6


Maxavera Version 6 offers a new look, improved performance, increased error handling, and much more

SANTA ANA, Calif., February 27, 2011- Pipeline Software Inc., today announced the launch of Maxavera version 6, an updated, user friendly, and more simplified version tool for integration between Maximo or SAP and Primavera, Microsoft Project and other project management software. This new version will be compatible with:

Primavera - P3e, 5.0, 6.0 6.1, 6.2, and P6 v7 and now v8

SAP R/3 - 4.6c, 4.7, ECC 5.0, ECC 6.0, and now JCO 3.x

Microsoft Project - Project Client 2007 and 2010, Project Server 2007

IBM Maximo - 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, 7.x

Maxavera version 6 still creates a seamless integration between Maximo or SAP and Primavera, Microsoft Project or other scheduling software to enable more accurate, efficient, standardized business processes for plant maintenance, turnaround management, preventative maintenance and capital projects.

New Look. The user interface has been revamped with a refreshing look and feel, larger font sizes, more intuitive placement of buttons, and simplified navigation making the system more user friendly and easier to use. Execution options have been converted into a tab on the Job page for ease of use, and pop-up selection lists are now available for job parameter and selection criteria.

Dashboard Interface. V6 now has a Dashboard to give a quick summary of the status of jobs, the health of the system, and a list of notifications.  The dashboard reduces training and data entry time, is easier to use, and produces more efficient operating procedures.

Improved Performance. Better quality performance for all listing pages to improve load times. Job execution times have been improved with enhancements to the Primavera engine and memory cleanup. This adds to our market leading performance. Enjoy faster training times, more ease of use, and quicker configurations.

Dynamic Field Mapping. Included is a dynamic mapping framework with the ability to upload mapping extensions. Adjusting and creating field mappings have never been easier. Save more time and configure additional integration scenarios.

Increased Error Handling. V6 builds upon the robust error handling functionality in prior releases.  Action log entries can now be filtered by the error level.  Users now have the ability to email compressed log file and activity log without first downloading to the desktop, making the process faster and more efficient and cutting administration time.

Enhanced Notifications. Notifications have been added for instant updates and tracking, no more checking your email to clarify the outcome of a job.  User preferences are now available to set notification options.

Proactive Administration. Administration is simplified by new scenario templates, a consolidation of group templates, and transport templates to make administration easier. V6 includes an audit log of actions performed on the console. Password and expiration policy support has been upgraded in order to protect the integrity of the application and safety of your work process.  Support for additional password type parameter fields for jobs has been added.

Functional Scenario Controls. V6 users have the ability to abort a running job from the job history page, and the ability to upgrade integration scenarios with new parameters, criteria, and options. These abilities simplify rollouts of enhancements and retain job history while using existing variants and jobs.
